Abstract

The research is an analytical study in the methods used by the grammarian in determining the meaning of the element(preposition), as there are many ways to determine this topic.  The research is a study about ALKhudari's captions about Alfiyat Ibn Malik and explainig the methods used by ALKhudari in determinig the meaning of the preposition , so our choice to one preposition which is 'from' . The search is not a study in analysing disagreement among  grammarians in determining the meaning of the preposition , but rather it is a study that analyzes Al-Khudari’s use of the context, the rule and the reasoning in justifying the saying with a specific meaning for “from” in a spesific place  without others, and on the other hand, the research sought to indicate the amount of validity into consideration  Context, rule, or justification in determining the meaning of “from” and are the methods govern the determination of the meaning, or are they means of clarifying the closest meaning with the possibility of the other meaning, and the last speech is what we can derive from the treatments presented by Al-Khudari, as the methods usually rule in one place without another.
