Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. "Meras" journal receives papers and studies that are exclusively within its specialization.
2. The research submitted for publication should not have been previously published in a journal or any other means of publication.
3. The author grants exclusive rights to the journal, including publication, paper and electronic distribution, storage and reuse of research.
4. The number of research pages submitted for publication shall not exceed twenty-five pages.
5. The research should be sent to the journal via its e-mail: meras.journal@uowa.edu.iq

6. The research submitted for publication shall be written in the word program and the size of a page is (A4), leaving a distance of 2 cm from the four sides of the page.
7. The text of the research is written in Times New Roman font type and size 14.
Provides a summary of the research in English and on a separate page and not to exceed (250) words.
8. The first page of the research should contain the following information:
• Research Title.
• Name of author(s) and affiliation destinations.
• Email of the author(s).
• Abstract in Arabic.
• Tags (keywords).
• Abstract in English.
9. The title of the paper is written in the center of the page, in Times New Roman font, and size 16 Bold.
10. Write the name of the author(s) centered in the center of the page, in Times New Roman, 12 Bold.
11. Author(s) affiliations are written in Times New Roman font and 12 Bold.
12. Email addresses are written in Times New Roman and 12 Bold.
13. The abstract is written in Times New Roman, 12 Bold Italic, font size.
14. Tags that do not exceed five words are written in Times New Roman font type and size 11 Justify Italic.
15. Affiliate bodies prove as follows (department, college, university, city, country) and without abbreviations.
16. Avoid acronyms and citations when writing your research.
17. Never mention the name of the author(s) in the search text.
18. The name of the figure is written centered under it, and the table has its title centered above it.
19. Drawings, pictures and charts shall be colourful, clear and of high accuracy, taking into account their placement in a text box, and taking into account that scan is not used in graphic forms.
20. Remember the margins and sources at the end of the research, and they are arranged alphabetically in the APA system.
21. All studies cited during the body of the research, tables, images, etc., must be accurately proven in the list of sources and vice versa.
